Hello, and welcome to Celebration Health! My name is Julie Kish-Forsyth.

I have worked for Celebration Health for the past 7 years. I have enjoyed working with a variety of individuals including stroke rehabilitation patients, knee replacements and athletes.

My hobbies include fitness training, running, biking, tennis, softball, golf and travel.

I was convinced that exercise should be a part of my life when I started to compete in competitive softball at the early age of 8. I kept busy with figure staking and competitive volleyball to remain fit in the off season. I went on to play college softball where I incurred many injuries from years of hard training. Since then, I have learned how to help others prevent and recover from similar types of injuries. I love to do as much outdoor activity as possible.

My certifications include ACSM Health and Fitness Instructor and American Red Cross. I have attended many conferences varying from, and including, functional training seminars to rehabilitation classes as well as sports specific training.

I received my education from Jacksonville State University where I attained a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science & Wellness.

My experience includes personal training for 7 years, as well as teaching softball pitching clinics, being assistant softball coach at a junior college, and conducting seminars for postural alignment in the workplace.

My specialization areas of training include individuals with slight or severe physical disabilities, core strength and stability, sport specific training – golf, softball and tennis, myofascial release, joint replacement recovery and pre-op, functional training, postural re-alignment and spiral stability. I also work with hypertension, heart disease, obesity and sub-maximal cardiovascular fitness testing.

Fitness Motto: “Never give up, as you will never know if you may succeed”. “If you’re having trouble kicking your own butt, I’ll quite happily kick it for you!”
