Hello and welcome to Celebration Health! My name is Callie Rogers.
Since October 2007, I have been employed as a personal trainer at the Fitness Center.
I was convinced that exercise should be a part of my life when I started playing competitive sports at the age of 14. I soon realized when I started college that I didn’t have sports practice to keep me in good shape, so I needed to incorporate exercise as a daily activity and began making it a part of my own lifestyle.
My certifications include: Certified Personal Trainer, National Certification for Therapeutic Massage and Body Work, Medical Massage Therapy, American Red Cross CPR & AED.
I received my education from Fort Hays State University where I attained a Bachelor of Science in Health & Human Performance, majoring in Exercise Science, also attending the Kansas College of Chinese Medicine receiving a degree in Medical Massage Therapy.
My specialized training includes musculoskeletal abnormalities, core strength training and stability, sports specific training, stroke, cardiac, and injury rehabilitation, special needs population, flexibility, and weight management. I incorporate core strengthening in every training session due to its benefits, you will tire less easily at work and perform you daily activities more efficiently; you will enhance your posture, and improve you cardiovascular fitness.
My personal advice for anyone looking to receive personal training or just starting an exercise program is that the challenge is getting started; get a program set up for you that is going to meet not only your goals but your lifestyle. I am here for you to be your motivation, your mentor, and your personal coach. We will get there!
Fitness Motto, “Starting out is half the battle, stay determined and focused, everyone deserves to achieve the goals they work hard for, so make it happen!”
