Hello and welcome to Celebration Health! My name is Allison Bergman.
Since December 2006, I have been employed as a personal trainer at the Fitness Centre.
My hobbies include dance (ballet, jazz, hip hop), working out, traveling, shopping and movies.
I was convinced that exercise is a part of my life when I realized I needed more then just my dance classes to help me to succeed as a dancer. I started with Pilates classes when I was in high school and dancing at Boston Ballet. Not only did the Pilates classes help me with building strength for my dance technique but also assisted my battle with scoliosis and avoiding career threatening surgery.
My certifications include; National Strength and Conditioning Association- Certified Personal Trainer, Les Mills –Body Jam, Les Mills- Body Flow, Pilates Institute of America- Mat 1, Aerobics and Fitness Association of America- Primary Group Fitness Instructor and American Red Cross- CPR & AED.
I received my education from The University of Central Florida where I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sports and Fitness. My specialized areas of training include dance performance training and Pilates.
I have unique ability to merge my training to be a professional dancer with my knowledge of exercise and biomechanics and provide dancers with the ability to build strength and enhance their overall performance. As a certified Pilates instructor, I use my understanding to help my clients focus on core work strengthening the deep muscles of the core abdominals, back hips and gluets.
My personal advice for anyone looking to receive personal training is that people hire trainers for all different reasons and all trainers are different. Look for someone that is passionate for getting you the results you want.
Fitness Motto, “There are so many different ways to get yourself in shape, find something you really like to do and go with it”
